Iowa Business Council survey shows overall positive outlook

The Iowa Business Council’s (IBC) second-quarter Economic Outlook Survey shows some declines in what members are expecting in the next six months, but overall optimism. AFBF unhappy with proposed dairy make allowances increases

Kansas producers note strong winter wheat yields

Cattle futures sharply lower Tuesday

Chicago Mercantile Exchange live and feeder cattle futures were sharply lower, with boxed beef down sharply at midday, waiting for direct business to get better defined. Soybeans were sharply lower on speculative and technical selling. The trade is watching Tropical Storm Beryl move further inland, bringing heavy rainfall to parts of the southern and eastern Midwest.
