Couple needs to be rescued from Sioux City home after tree falls in storm

Thunderstorms have been rolling across Iowa bringing strong winds and heavy rain. Winds were clocked between 60 and 70 miles an hour in Sioux City in western Iowa just before midnight. CME cash dairy prices mostly higher Tuesday

Cash dairy prices were higher Tuesday except for cheese blocks on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Dry whey was up $0.05 at $0.62.  Three sales were recorded, ranging from $0.60 to $0.62.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.95.   No sales were recorded.  Cheese barrels were up $0.0125 at $1.9875.
