Corn harvest nearing completion for Tennessee farmers

Iowan dies from rare Lassa Fever

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed the death of a state resident from a rare disease. Dry weather keeps harvest momentum rolling

The ongoing dry weather has allowed Kentucky farmers to continue to make significant harvest progress. Corn harvest is 87 percent complete, and soybeans are 64 percent harvested.  Tobacco is 40 percent stripped and 35 percent of house tobacco is rated good to excellent. Cotton, peanut harvests moving quickly in Arkansas
