Former Iowa Congressman Jim Leach has died

Jim Leach, a Davenport native who represented Iowa in congress for 30 years, has died at the age of 82. Leach was first elected to the U.S. House in 1976 and rose to be Republican chairman of the powerful House Banking Committee. Chicago Mercantile Exchange live and feeder cattle were up, watching direct business develop in the North at higher prices, following up on Tuesday’s steady to higher trade.
