Wheat in the Eastern Corn Belt showing mixed conditions as the crop advances

The USDA is reporting inconsistent winter wheat conditions across the Eastern Corn Belt. Cash dairy prices mostly higher on Wednesday

Cash dairy prices were higher except for cheese barrels on Wednesday at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.     Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.69.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $0.69 to $0.6925.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0050 at $1.4975.  Eight sales were recorded, ranging from $1.49 to $1.4975.  Cheese barrels were down $0.03 at $1.44.  Two sales were recorded at $1.44 and $1.45.  Butter was up $0.06 at $1.62.  Fourteen sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5850 to $1.62.  Nonfat dry milk was up 0.05 at $2.0925.  Twelve sales were recorded, ranging from $2.09 to $2.10.  The post Cash dairy prices mostly higher on Wednesday appeared first on Brownfield Ag News.
